Events and Competitions

Team 1038 participates in several competitions each year. In 2008, Team 1038 will attend the Midwest Regional competition in Chicago and the FIRST Championship in Atlanta.

Midwest Regional
The Midwest Regional competition is held each season in Chicago, Illinois. In 2008, more than 40 teams from both the US and Canada competed. Team 1038 placed 12th overall and received the regional Engineering Inspiration Award, FIRST's second-highest honor for FRC teams.

FIRST Championship
The FIRST Championship is held every year in Atlanta, Georgia and is the final competition of the season. Teams from all over the world travel to Atlanta and compete for the Championship as well as the Chairman's Award and other awards.
